The Kids Shul โ Rosh Hashanah Edition ๐๐ฏ
A Family-Friendly Rosh Hashanah Experience for All Ages
Rosh Hashanah is one of the most meaningful days of the Jewish yearโand we believe children should experience that meaning too.
At The Kids Shul โ Rosh Hashanah Edition, children won't just be entertainedโthey'll become an important part of the service. Designed especially for families with young children, this warm and engaging experience allows kids to actively participate while parents enjoy watching them grow in their connection to Judaism.
From leading songs and prayers to helping open the Ark, reading from the Torah, and participating throughout the morning, every child has the opportunity to feel included and inspired.
And because no sweet New Year celebration is complete without delicious treats, we'll also be enjoying our signature...

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a drop-off program?
No. This is a family experience designed for parents, grandparents, and children to enjoy together. We encourage families to participate side by side as we celebrate Rosh Hashanah. Adults also have the option to drop the childrne off and head to the main service.
What ages is this for?
Everyone is welcome! The program is designed primarily for children ages 2โ12, but babies, toddlers, older siblings, grandparents, and guests will all enjoy the experience.
Do children really lead the service?
Yes! One of the highlights of The Kids Shul is that many parts of the program are led by children. They'll help lead songs, participate in prayers, assist with opening the Aron, learn about the shofar, and take active roles throughout the morning. Every child will have an opportunity to participate.
Is this a full Rosh Hashanah service?
This is a specially designed, age-appropriate Rosh Hashanah service that introduces children to the beauty and meaning of the day in a way they can understand and enjoy. While children are participating in The Kids Shul, adults are also welcome to attend the main sanctuary service if they prefer.
Do we need to know Hebrew?
Not at all! The service is warm, interactive, and welcoming for every family, regardless of background or experience.
What will be served?
We'll enjoy a festive Caramel Apple & Honey Brunch featuring fresh apples, honey, mini caramel apples, yogurt parfaits, bagels, challah rolls, fruit, coffee, and other delicious breakfast favorites.
Is there a cost?
There is no charge to attend. Donations are always appreciated and help us continue providing meaningful Jewish programming for families throughout the year.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes. While there is no charge, we kindly ask that you RSVP so we can prepare enough seating, food, and activities for everyone.
